MI Football Program Registration Links and Info

HELLO ISLANDER FAMILIES! PLEASE READ...

We are excited to continue our preparation for next year's season with our off-season training program BFS (Bigger Faster Stronger) and Summer Training! BFS and Summer Training are not mandatory but are highly encouraged.
 
Incoming 9th (current 8th) and new to MIHS student-athletes can participate in BFS and Summer Training!

 


#2: Player Registration - BFS - TBD

A nominal fee will be collected during registration. If you are experiencing hardship and would like to receive some financial support, please email info@mifootball.org

Summer plans are busy and everyone is respectful of this...please have your athlete attend as much as possible. For the multi-sport athlete, please attend as much as you can!

Incoming 9th graders and new to MIHS athletes DO NOT need to submit a sports packet prior to Fall Sports. They DO need to:

  • Bring a completed Emergency Contact Card to one of the Head Coach prior or weight lifting supervisor at BFS. 

ATHLETICS DEPT NOTE:

For Fall Sports Registration: Each school year, it is required that a new sports eligibility packet be completed. The only item that carries over is the sports physical signed by a physician (they are good for 2 years from the date of the exam).

*BFS and Summer Training, are optional opportunities for involvement and improvement, and are open to all MI Student-Athletes for incoming 9th-12th grade! Times are subject to change.

MIHS Athletics DEPT REQUIREMENTS for BFS AND Summer ACTIVITIES:

 
  • If you played a sport during the 2022-2023 school year, your packet/info should already be on file in the Athletics Office and will be valid through the start of Fall Sports.
  • If you are an incoming 9th grader, you DO NOT need to submit a packet prior to Fall Sports, you DO need to bring a completed ER Card and give it to one of the coaches.  Emergency Contact Card

  • Reminder, the Athletics Office closes for the month of July and will re-open the beginning of August.

MIHS Sports Registration Information

This school yearMIHS sports registration is still two parts: the online registration via Skyward plus the printed sports packet which needs to be turned in to the Athletics office or via email to Becky LeMaster. You will use your Skyward Family Access name and password to log in OR use the student's ID number (minus the leading zero) and last name as username and password.

You will also be required to submit the following forms to the Athletic Office: 2022-2023 Sports Registration Packet

  1. Athletic Health Form, which includes a Physical Exam, signed by a physician. Valid for two years. Physical Exams DO NOT carry over from IMS. Incoming 9th will need to get a new exam.

  2. Signature Page

  3. Emergency Medical Authorization Form

This process needs to be completed each season! Forms submitted for spring/summer activities do not carry over (with the possible exception of the player physical which is valid for 2 years).
